About the Author

D.Z. Phillips is Danforth Professor of Philosophy for Religion, Claremont Graduate School and Professor of Philosophy Emeritus and Rush Rhees Professor Emeritus at the University of Wales, Swansea. Mario von der Ruhr is Lecturer in Philosophy, University of Wales, Swansea. He is Associate Editor of Philosophical Investigations and has published articles in the Philosophy of Religion and Ethics.
